Adaptation of Tommy Jaud′s best-selling novel of the same title. The film′s story is centred around Simon Peters, a stoic telephone salesman, who shortly before turning 30 years old, has neither a girl friend nor a perspective on his life. Since his former girl friend broke up with him a year ago, Simon has not found a new one. Even his Croatian cleaning lady has tried to set him up with someone but has also failed utterly. But then, Simon catches sight of the woman of his dreams in a café bar. It is the ravishing beauty Marcia P. Garcia from South America. Simon immediately knows that she is the woman he wants to spend his life with. But there is one little thing that stands between Simon and his lucky future: He has yet to speak to Marcia.
