Florian Mischa Böder was born in Hanover in 1974. From 1997 to 2002, he studied at Cologne"s Kunsthochschule für Medien. Since 2001, Böder works as a freelance director and author for movie, TV, and theatre productions, for instance from 2001 to 2003 as a director for the "Harald-Schmidt-Show" on Sat.1. In 2001, Böder won the Max Ophuels prize for his short film "Ich muss gehen" and in 2007, Böder"s feature film debut, the drama "Nichts geht mehr", premiered at Hofer Filmtage.
