Thomas Bahmann was born in Munich in 1962 and studied in the feature film department at the Academy for Television & Film in Munich (HFF) from 1987-1991 and has worked as an independent author and director since 1991. His films are: "Beim Drachensteigen" (short, 1988), "Musikvideo Seoul "88" (1988), "Humpf im Gruenen" (short, 1989), "Halt"s Maul" (co-dir with Anna Oeller, short, 1989), "Der gute Kurt" (graduation film, 1991), "Kleiner Koenig Erich" (TV, 1993), "Coming In" (TV, 1993) and "Our Island In The South Pacific" ("Suedsee, eigene Insel", 1998).
