Biography

Pheline Roggan was born in Hamburg on June 13 1981. Between 2001 and 2004, she studied acting at the "Schule für Schauspiel" in Hamburg, followed by first screen appearances in "Kebab Connection" (2004), the made-for-TV feature film "Die Nacht der Löwen" (2005) and Birgit Möller's "Valerie" (2006). After her first leading role in Jan Georg Schütte's grim generational portrait "Die Glücklichen" (2007), she had a memorable turn as the infidel girlfriend of protagonist Zino (Adam Bousdoukos) in Fatih Akin's acclaimed comedy "Soul Kitchen".

She went on to star in a string of TV productions, including "Mörder auf Amrum" (2009), "Lisas Fluch" (2011), "Aschenputtel" (2011) and "Bankraub für Anfänger" (2012). She also appeared in the theatrical release "Russendisko" (2012) and again teamed up with director Jan Georg Schütte for the comedy "Leg ihn um – ein Familienfest" (2012).

Pheline Roggan continued to guest-star in several TV shows, while also appearing in theatrical releases like "Si-o-se Pol - Die letzten Tage des Parvis K." (2013), the Polish drama "Jak calkowicie zniknac" ("How to Disappear Completely", PL 2014) and the Austrian feature "Gruber geht" (AT 2015).

In 2016, she starred opposite Fabian Busch in the dark thriller-comedy "Sex & Crime".
