Synopsis
In Brazil, the prospector Vincente finds a gigantic diamond, the "Stern von Rio", which he gives to his bride, the dancer Concha. Lawfully, however, the jewel belongs to Don Felipe, who wants to present it in Amsterdam. Concha travels along, where she wears it as a model for , display. Yet, the jewel disappears during a presentation, and Concha is suspected of stealing it. Ultimately, the detective Adrian succeeds in tracking down the true perpetrator. It is Jacobo, who accompanies Concha on the guitar during her performance. Short-circuiting the lighting, he uses the darkness to hide the jewel as quick as lightning in his maracas. He is arrested, and Concha and Felipe finally come together.
