Dangerous Dowry
The Berlin taxi driver Ella is saved by her Russian passenger Alexei from being attacked. The two like each other at first sight. When they meet the next day, Alexei proposes to Ella and offers her DM 100,000: he urgently needs a residence permit. Ella′s flatmate Carmen warns her of the consequences.
But Ella knows that she has already decided for the amorous adventure. At first, love comes off rather badly...while the amorous adventure turns life-threatening: Alexei belongs to a bunch of gangsters led by his brother Yevgeny, who have stolen some radioactive caesium in Russia. Shady characters want to buy the hot wares for the Iraqi production of nuclear weapons. The transaction is to take place in Berlin. Ella unexpectedly gets caught up in the dangerous crossfire between the gangsters because Alexei has decided to break with his brother, hand the caesium over to the police, and start a new life with the Iraqis′ money. Ella manages to escape from the gangsters, along with Alexei and the money. But her troubles are far from over ...
