LOve & MOtion

LOve & MOtion

Deutschland 2004/2005, Dokumentarfilm

Synopsis

A documentary film about the so-called "Lomography", its underlying philosophy and its sudden success as a hip art form: The shooting of pictures with the unique and revered Russian Lomo compact camera, equipped as it is with a fast 32 millimeter wide angle lense, requires only to focus the object. These qualities allow for the taking of highly spontaneous snap shots. Lomography fans with their special inclinations for shooting pictures without first looking through the viewfinder love to take real hip shots – the more bizarre and in the true sense of the word “lop-sided” the final picture becomes, the better.
