Seven Journeys

A car tells its story and the story of its seven owners during the years of the Third Reich in Nazi Germany.

There is the political opponent who has to flee when Hitler seizes power; the composer who is banned from his musical profession; the gallery owner who, together with his Jewish wife, is driven to suicide during the Reichskristallnacht; the member of the resistance who is shot while trying to escape; the soldier in the icy Russian winter; the noble old lady who is persecuted because her son tried to assassinate Hitler; and finally the refugee mother and child who are helped along their way by a young soldier.
