Ihre Majestät die Liebe
Synopsis
Fred von Wellingen courts the young bar hostess Lia. Meanwhile, his brother Othmar and the rest of the von Wellingen clan refuse to give him a leading job in the family business, because Fred doesn’t want to marry the rich heiress von Lingenfeld.
Trying to provoke his relatives, Fred announces his engagement to Lia. Afraid of a scandal, the family agrees to meet all his demands – if he does not marry Lia. When Lia hears about this, she gives in to the courting of her dim-witted suitor Count Schwapsdorf. Just in time, Fred realizes that he really loves Lia, and brings her wedding ceremony to a halt.
