Drei Chinesen mit dem Kontrabaß

Deutschland 1998/1999 Spielfilm

Summary

Three Chinamen with a Double-Bass

Paul, an upcoming architect, neurotic and still oppressed by his mother, has just landed an order together with his young colleague Rieke. He wants to party. But Paul′s girlfriend Gabi disagrees and they start quarrelling again. Nevertheless, Paul decides to go to a party together with Rieke and his best friend Max, a stoic and assistant doctor, to celebrate his success and dance his frustration away. And he drinks too much. Meanwhile Gabi meets her lover and boss Heribert. During their lovemaking, he loses his balance and Gabi breaks her neck. Heribert panics and vamooses unnoticed.

The next morning Paul can′t remember at all what happened the evening before. When he discovers Gabi′s dead body he believes that he has killed her himself while he was drunk and stoned. Max agrees. For Paul there′s just one way out: they have to get rid of the corpse.
