A Woman in Flames
Eva is a student, but her studies bring her no pleasure and she decides to change her life-style. She gives up her ordinary way of living, “dropping out” in order to be “in”. She becomes a so-called model. She sells her body, not because she is in trouble but because she wants to be independent of and, in fact, dominate men, and because the idea of an ordinary career bores her. She disregards any moral scruples, and is into “freedom and self-expression”. Eva meets Chris who works as a male model. They fall in love and their obsessions begin to grow. The film describes an obsessive love story where love is nothing but a commodity.
