He has appeared extensively in the theatre as well as on the small and big screen. He has worked for directors like Roland Graf ("Der Tangospieler", 1990/91), Peter Fratzscher ("Nachts", 1997), Christoph Eichhorn ("Der Mann auf der Bettkante", 1995) and Hajo Gies ("Die Glocke von Amelung", 1994). He made his directorial debut in 1989 with "Treffen in Travers" and followed this with "Abschied von Agnes" (1994) and "The Big Mambo" ("Das Mambospiel", 1998).
