Born in 1961 in Frankfurt/Main. Extensive travels to Italy, England and Senegal from 1981-1983. Guest student at the Paris film academy FEMIS from 1985-1987. Worked on TV commercials and movie ads from 1988-1990. 1994 scholarship for the script workshop Drehbuch Werkstatt in Munich. Works as a freelance screenwriter and director since 1991.
