While manoeuvring though the capital's media and political scene, he has to defend himself against several intrigues and at the same time has to find the big scoop for his first publication. With scathing humour, Dietl depicts Berlin's "elite" as a scheming clique which – apart from power and sex – only craves one thing: to look good on page one.
