Born in Munich in 1972. From 1993-1995 studied architecture at Berlin Technical University. 1996-2004 studied directing at the Academy of Television and Film School (HFF) in Munich. Various Jobs as storyboard illustrator, sound editor and assistant director. 1997 co-founder and co-publisher of “Revolver”film magazine. Numerous articles on cinema for “Süddeutsche Zeitung”, "png", “Cult”, “Insert”and other publications. "Milchwald" (2003) was his graduation project and first feature film.
